Specdock: privacy policy and terms
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Specdock (“we”) is an Atlassian Forge app made by Zeustable that renders OpenAPI, Swagger and AsyncAPI specs and Mermaid and PlantUML diagrams on Confluence Cloud pages.
What Specdock stores
- Git access tokens that a Confluence admin adds, in Atlassian's Forge secret storage.
- A cache of fetched spec files for up to 5 minutes, in Atlassian's Forge storage.
- Macro settings (the spec source and display options) as part of the Confluence page.
Specdock does not store personal data and does not use analytics or tracking.
Where data goes
All stored data stays in Atlassian's Forge storage for your Confluence site. To load a spec, Specdock requests the file from the host you configured: api.github.com, raw.githubusercontent.com, gitlab.com, api.bitbucket.org, or a host your site admin allows. Only the spec file is requested, and a token is sent only to the host it was added for. PlantUML diagrams are drawn by the public PlantUML server (www.plantuml.com), which receives the diagram text.
Permissions
Specdock reads the current page and its attachments to find spec files, and reads spaces and page content only when an admin runs the migration scanner. It never edits or deletes your content.
Terms
Use of Specdock is governed by the Atlassian Marketplace End User Agreement. Specdock is provided as is, without warranties beyond those required by law.
